Silicone

$15.00Price

Silicone is the liquid of choice for serious kaleidoscope makers when making liquid kaleidoscope chambers.  It is clear, colorless, odorless. Pure silicone in 2 viscosities, 500 or 1000.   500 is similar to thin syrup, 1000 more like thicker syrup.   Viscosities can be mixed.    So why doesn't everyone use silicone?    Well, mostly because you have to buy it by the gallon (or more) and it currently costs over $100.00 per gallon!!   We can't do much about the price per gallon, BUT, we can make it available in smaller (read cheaper) quantities.   Update - we apologize but have had to raise the price. A worldwide shortage of supply in the industry resulted in another huge increase. But we're still keeping prices low! It is still cheaper to buy small quantities from us rather than buy a gallon or more elsewhere! Don't buy a gallon when you can buy a pint!!

*PSF-500cSt and PSF-1,000cSt (centistoke) viscosities. 100% Polydimethylsiloxane Fluids (Pure silicone. The difference in viscosities is determined by the length of the molecular chains.....PSF-1,000cSt is a longer chain and thus a thicker viscosity than 500cSt.)
